With over a century of manufacturing technology in the Goodwin PLC group of companies, which was originally founded in 1883, Duvelco Limited’s first product range is called Ducoya®. This product has been researched, developed and created to cater for high performance, critical applications, that very few polymers can equal. Ducoya combines heat resistance, lubricity, dimensional stability, chemical resistance and creep resistance; it can be used in hostile and extreme environmental conditions.
Since the establishment of the company, Duvelco has developed its own specialised polyimide production process, manufacturing an excellent product consistently that is highly sought after in challenging critical applications.
Being a specialist materials organistion, Duvelco has a permanently staffed R&D laboratory, investigating and testing technical enhancements that can be realised for high performing polymers. This research encompasses new product development in addition to overseeing customised production cycles to create small batch runs of polyimide polymers. This allows for unique filler combinations to be encapsulated into the material to modify its performance.
